Choosing the correct glazing to suit your needs is just as important as your choice of profile.  Affordable Windows Ltd has many types of glazing to choose from. First and foremost is the overall energy efficiency, commonly known as low E glazing.
You may also need to combat certain requirements such as;

SGG CLIMA CONTROL

Often used in conservatories or south facing glazing projects. Available in neutral (slight grey tint) ,Aqua, blue or  bronze. Used for;

• Heat reflection
• Thermal insulation
• Glare reduction
• Self cleaning glass

For vertical solar control we would recommend SGG Planitherm 4S. Neutral in appearance 4S glazing provides true year round comfort when used throughout.

SGG PLANITHERM TOTAL

Planitherm total is a low E glass offering an excellent everyday centre pain U –value thus providing excellent thermal insulation for the most demanding of glass specifications.
High performance low E glass with an optimum centre pane U-value of 1.2 W/m2K

SGG PLANITHERM ONE

Planitherm One is an advanced low E glazing reaching higher levels of energy efficiency and thermal insulation.
Superior performance low E glass with an optimum centre pain U-value of 1.0W/m2K

SGG STAPID SILENCE / ACOUSTIC GLAZING

Stapid silence is an acoustic PVB laminated glass, which noticeably reduces noise whilst offering the same safety and security characteristics as laminated or toughened glass

ANTI-SUN – ANTI GLARE

Anti Sun is a body tinted glass, manufactured in the same way as clear float glass with a coloured appearance as well as minimal solar control properties. It is intended for universal applications, where an attractive appearance is required. Reduces the risk of damage  caused by UV rays and glare.

VISION CONTROL / OBSCURE GALZING

Is a range of decorative patterned glass with varying obscuration levels which can be combined with Low E glass to offer privacy in various applications. Satin glass is another obscure glazing which is very popular with clientele. White in appearance, acid etched and polished to a sheen finish offering a modern twist on standard obscure glazing. Other privacy glazings are available on request.

TRIPLE GLAZING

Extremely popular in today’s market.

Offering ultra high thermal efficiency, our 40mm triple glazing with U values as low as 0.7 W/m2K , thus reducing heat loss within the home and positively impacting your energy bills.

Triple glazing can really help to improve the comfort of your home by reducing cold spots within a room .Thanks to lower transference of the external temperature to the internal face of the glazing and the additional cavity , cold transference is greatly reduced compared to double glazing.

Sound reduction is also enhanced with the use of triple glazing.

WARM EDGE SPACER BAR TECHNOLOGY
